Which module fits your motor?

What matters is the exact motor and drive system . Your e-bike brand alone is not enough to choose a module. Compare the motor designation with this overview and check the restrictions in the same row.

CHECK CAREFULLY
Bosch Gen4 does not automatically mean Bosch Smart. Distinguish between BES2 and Smart System / BES3. For Shimano, “EP8” on the motor housing is not enough: Check whether you have an EP800 or EP801 and compare the connectors.

OPTIONAL ACCESSORY

14V adapter for Shimano EP6 / EP801

The adapter is intended exclusively for RedPed 2s for Shimano EP6 / EP801 and not for the EP8 version. The 14V port must be enabled. If there is no voltage, a specialist workshop must activate it.

Below 10% battery charge, the 14V port is disabled. The module then switches off too and the e-bike display shows 0 km/h.
